Introducing…

Deborah Harvey Skincare

‘Where caring for your skin naturally is our priority.’

Hello and welcome,  I’m so pleased you’re here.

I am the founder and maker behind Deborah Harvey’s Skincare, ‘Where caring for your skin naturally is our priority.’ A lovingly handcrafted range of natural skincare made from pure nourishing Oils & Butters, plus a whole lot of heart. This has been a journey 15 years in the making. One born from curiosity, care, and a desire to create something honest, gentle and beautifully effective.

I use only nature’s ingredients. Rich plant-based oils and butters, to create deeply moisturising, luxuriously smooth Body Butters that melt into the skin, leaving it soft, supple and cared for. There are no artificial chemicals, no harsh additives, just clean, skin-loving goodness straight from the earth.

My journey began when a friend returned from Ghana with a block of raw Shea Butter.  It was earthy, unrefined, and full of promise. I started by melting it down and applying it directly to my skin. It worked wonders, but I found the texture slightly greasy and the scent rather overpowering. So, I began experimenting and researching oils, discovering essential oils, and mixing small batches just for myself.

Before long, my two daughters were sneaking pots from my shelves, and I began making body butters for friends, family, and the school fayres. What started as a personal project quickly became a passion.

Over the years, I refined my recipes, adding thoughtful blends of olive oils butter, mango butter, avocado oil, jojoba oils and more.  Each chosen for its unique skin benefits. I created gift sets for friends, always hearing the same thing: “You really should start your own brand.” Time was always the hurdle… until now.

In April 2025, following redundancy, I finally gave myself permission to chase this dream. I poured my energy into creating a skincare range that’s accessible, ethical and genuinely effective, for people who care about what they put on their skin.

My Body Butters are rich yet fast-absorbing, velvety without being greasy, and ideal for everyday use. They wrap your skin in a gentle cocoon of moisture, perfect for dry, sensitive, or simply well-loved skin in need of a little TLC.

My Soaps are the newest addition.  A traditional, cold-processed bar made with natural oils and butters that cleanse without stripping, and leave your skin feeling soft, refreshed and pampered.

And because I know not everyone tolerates essential oils, I’ve created the Essentially Free range. Fragrance-free blends for sensitive souls, made with the same love and care, just without added scent.

This is not only skincare, this is self-care, rooted in a deep respect for nature and for our skin’s natural needs.

Thank you for supporting my journey. Whether you’re a curious first-timer or a long-time fan, I’m so excited to share Deborah Harvey Skincare with you.

Here’s to soft, happy, beautifully nourished skin, naturally.

With love,

 Deborah
